Initial reaction: It has been a long time when I first watched this video.
When I first watched it though, it was Remembrance Day. This song and music video made me think of what would have happened if the soldiers did not fight for freedom. In the video there is this little girl’s dad that did not want to stop for 2 minutes because he did not care. While everyone stopped he kept on walking and making noise. When I saw that I felt really angry because those Canadians lost their lives to make our country free, and he disrespecting that. When the video was ending, it showed some of the soldiers that are walking by. That made the father think that it was those people who made our freedom happen. So in the end he finally stopped and what he was doing and waited.

I think that the musicians created this video to show awareness to the society that some people still actually do what that dad did in the video. They want to leave them a message saying that they fought so hard to make our country free, and most of them lost their lives. So what we can do is just give two minutes of our time to honor those people. The theme that is promoted in this video would be Remembrance Day.

So he wanted to raise awareness to everyone out there, telling them that it is just two minutes that you’re sacrificing but the soldiers had to sacrifice their lives. What I mean is that there is a story in the video is really simple to understand. It’s about a dad that doesn’t really care about the soldiers until he realized what they did for him. This music video is one of my top favorite videos of all time. This music video tells a meaningful story that is easy to understand and relate to. Very little songs have these very well written lyrics. I hope that everyone would enjoy this song as much as I did.
